Visual Arts

Our program guides students through the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, while exploring techniques such as drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, and sculpture. They study artists and styles throughout history, growing in appreciation of their own creativity and of God as the master artist.

Here is a sampling of our students’ artwork. Each year, we participate in the Private School division of the Carolina Classic Fair.

Cathedral Oak Academy currently offers music and visual arts and as we grow, we would like to create theatre and choir programs.

Music

Our K-5 students have the opportunity to improve their singing voices, to learn music history and music theory each week. Our Veteran’s Day Program and our Christmas Program give students the opportunity to sing in a choir, to sing solos and to perform speaking parts.

Co-curricular Activities

Cathedral Oak Academy offers students a selection of activities off-campus that complement their on-campus studies. These activities are planned and coordinated by families. Some examples may include:
